Run your first scan

The fastest tour of Wield: upload a PDF → extract data → candidate searchable.

Upload a CV

1. Click Upload in the sidebar.
2. Drag one or more files (.pdf, .docx, .png, .jpg) into the dropzone, or pick them via Choose files.
3. Optional: source (LinkedIn export, direct application, …) and tags.

Uploading triggers the intelligence pipeline automatically:

1. Extraction reads fields from the document (Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite).
2. Enrichment adds skills, career history, certifications.
3. Scoring computes comparison metrics against your briefings.

The pipeline runs in the background — keep working while it processes. Progress shows up in Protocol.

Review the result

Once the run is finished the candidate appears under Candidates. Open it to:

• review extracted fields and correct them manually,
• set tags,
• generate a dossier directly.

Tips

• Multiple files per drag-and-drop are supported.
• Scanned PDFs run through OCR — quality depends on the scan.
